Source Water Assessment and Protection (SWAP) is a two-phased program designed to help ensure safe drinking water by controlling pollution at its source.

Source water protection efforts in the Standley Lake/Clear Creek watershed built on the initial assessment reports from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. All public water supplies in this area rely on surface water sources.
